HEALTHY LIFESTYLE DAY WITH THE ORPHANAGE BY SEGI COLLEGE SUBANG JAYA
It was a spot-on effort for the student of SEGi College Subang Jaya when they finally succeeded their project event theme “Hold them to a Healthier Heights”.
The event is organized by the student of the Public Relations class from the Faculty of Creative Arts and Design. This event is a collaborative effort between students, lecturer and the management of SEGi College Subang Jaya.
This healthy lifestyle event has brought 17 children aged between 2-17years old from an orphanage for an outing to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam, Shah Alam.
The objective of the event is to create awareness to the students and public on healthy lifestyle and helping children home and also to let the students in the team experience the process of organizing an event.
James Khor Lay Kiat, the President of the organizing committee said “The event went smoothly.Every goal that we wanted to achieve has already been achieved. Of course, there were some obstacles and unexpected outcomes during the process but everything went on just the way we wanted”
The children were brought to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam, where all the they are demonstrate on healthy lifestyle and explained the important of being fit for mentally and physically.
Roslan Othman, Head of Faculty said the CSR project is a collaboration with their module as part of SEGi college effort to create a responsibility citizen among the students.
There were also healthy lifestyle themed games for the children to enchance them of healthy lifestyle and also to create public awareness.
