Class Farewell parties are always an exciting affair and bring alive a lot of happy memories. CPUS organized a Farewell Party to bid adieu to the outgoing students of SEGi College Subang Jaya’s Intensive English Programme on 2nd October 2013.The function comprised of several dance and singing performances. Ms.Vilasini, Head, Centre Pre-University Studies and the English lecturers were invited to the MPH hall where plates of delicious desserts and homemade Arabic food were laid out for all to eat.

Although the party carried a tinge of sadness, the students had fun as they enjoyed every moment with their best buddies. To start off the festivities, a group of talented students danced their way onto the stage as the audience whooped and clapped. Then a band of singers sang their mother tongue songs and they received a huge round of applause after they left the stage.

After this performance, Ms. Vilasini presented mementos to students and motivated them to work hard so as to achieve their goals in life. Ms. Vilasini also mentored the students on exam procedures as the IEP exam was scheduled on 4th October. To add some fun to the farewell party, students were also engaged in musical chair game arranged by an Elementary student, Ahmad. Students and teachers laughed as the players tried hard to win in the musical chair game. However, the highlight of the day was a Korean song sang by Kang. He impressed everyone with his stunning voice and emotional face expression.

When the party ended, everyone was reluctant to leave. After all, for many students, this would be their last official function in college before the term ends. Farewell and all the best for your future as you proceed into the Foundation!
